Annual inflation in the OECD area at 3.5% in January 2008

Consumer prices in the OECD area rose by 3.5% in the year to January 2008 compared with 3.4% in the year to December 2007. On a monthly basis, the price level rose by 0.2% in January, unchanged compared with December.
