Deputy Governor Lars E. O. Svensson gave a speech today at the conference “Monetary Policy over Fifty Years” in Frankfurt am Main, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Deutsche Bundesbank. In his speech Mr Svensson gave a personal account of his view on the development of monetary policy research over the past 50 years.
