EU Commission Upgrades German and EU Growth Forecasts

The European Commission is raising its forecasts for economic growth this year in Germany, in the 12-country euro zone and in the 25-nation EU, a new report says.
Brussels is softly predicting that growth for 2006 in the EU -- and also in Germany, Europe's largest economy -- will be better than expected, according to a new report by the European Commission.
