End of Japan's deflation in sight: Abe - MSN-Mainichi Daily News

Japan has yet to get rid of deflation but the end of the situation has come into sight, Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Shinzo Abe said Friday.
Abe made the remark at a news conference in reference to a 1.0 percent year-on-year rise in Japan's overall consumer price index, including often volatile fresh food prices, for June, the largest increase in more than eight years.
